Tribal LegendsFunction introduction

Concrete Jungle combines all the complexity of a city management sim with the accessibility of a tabletop deck-building game.

Structures come in the form of cards, which you place on a grid to build up your city.

The city itself is presented in detailed, isometric blocks, in the style of classic management sims.

It isn't a matter of just laying down blocks, though. A point sysem and different demands from residents will require different planning strategies, making the game increasingly difficult.

Concrete Jungle is currently on Kickstarter. It's already passed its very modest goal of £3,000, but still has nearly a full month left.

Its campaign states plans for PC and Mac development, with Android and iOS a possibility later down the line.

If you want to see that happen, you can consider backing it on Kickstarter here.

Pitched by the development team as “the first mobile, base builder, strategy game that adds competition to a story driven experience”, Rift of Raigard is a fantasy-set RTS geared towards those who’ve had enough of stingy F2P models. Centring on three factions at war, players are invited to choose a side and fight for them when embarking on a feature-rich campaign. Rift of Raigard is in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign, currently undergoing its final push.

You’d think that, what with its strategic appeal and slower-pace, the RTS genre would kick ass on mobile. So many titles looking to provide this experience so often get it wrong, however, and it’s this ideology that Rift of Raigard has been born out of. Should it secure enough funding, the world of Rift of Raigard will feature an eclectic mix of locations to fight through as either a member of the Folklords, Gremlochs, or Coalites, fuelled by an interwoven and original story.

Adding some personality to the RTS experience, Rift of Raigard heavily emphasises customisation. Everything from your central hero, to lower ground troops, and even your base can all be evolved thanks to an assortment of skins. Acquiring them helps to add a little additional risk. After all, the last thing you want is to see your custom encampment destroyed by the enemy.

There are plenty of other exciting features planned, including specific game modes never before seen in the genre, sponsored events and leagues, a dedicated guild system, and much more. Rift of Raigard will also tout a zero-tolerance policy to ward off cheaters, with the game’s blend of glorious RTS action intended to remain accessible and fair for all.“With a world-class development and art team, we strive to create the #bestgameever on mobile” say the development team from Dun Rite Games who need just an extra push to transform that into reality. You can show your interest in Rift of Raigard by backing the game on Kickstarter, while reaping exclusive rewards in the process – depending on your chosen tier.

Towards the end of May, The Voxel Agents' revered puzzler The Gardens Between entered open beta for Android devices. It was available globally except for folks in the US. Now, it's fully released – as spotted by an eagle-eyed Reddit user – and so of course, American Android users can finally get the game too.

The Gardens Between is available as a premium title on Android devices, as well as on iOS though that version launched in May 2019. However, if you also happen to be a subscriber of Google Play Pass, you'll also be able to access the game that way.

Dumpling Design, the studio behind the popular racer Dashy Crashy, is hard at work on a new augmented reality racing game which aims to let you race around your living room and leave your friends in the dust.

There's very few details yet, but the game is basically an answer to the question "what if Dashy Crashy were in AR and had multiplayer?" So far the answer seems to be "it would look pretty neat," if the short video below is any indication.

Star Titan is a new run and gun shooter from Kent-based developer Dark Pyre Interactive. It's been designed for mobiles so it's not a port of any kind like we often see on mobile. It's available now for both iOS and Android.

The game aims to pay homage to 80s and 90s mecha anime, so you know that means copious amounts of explosions will be happening at every opportunity. You'll be working towards bringing down an evil human military organisation called the Terran Conglomerate who want to rule over all species. The scientists weren't going to accept that, so they used their knowledge to create powerful mechs called Titans.

There are two mechs to choose from, the Phoenix and the Behemoth. The Phoenix is a much leaner, more agile mech whilst the Behemoth is slow but can take a lot of punishment before it falls. Each has its own array of weapons to choose from including cannon's, lasers and spread shots. You can spend credits to upgrade their health and damage output alongside unlocking different skins.
'"Look here what tributes wounded fancies sent me,

Following the conclusion of SINoAlice's recent NieR Replicant and Automata crossover events, they've introduced their first seasonal celebration. It's called 'An End to Summer Dreams' and it will run from today until September 3rd at 5:59 am UTC. There's also a new gacha grimoire available that features two new classes for existing characters alongside some weapons.

This will be a co-op guild event that will see players battling against various nightmarish creatures that appear in the different stages. Defeating them will net players clam medals that can then be traded in the Medal Exchange for numerous rewards.

Alongside simply exchanging the medals, there will also be several milestones to hit for gathering them in the first place. Hitting these targets will earn players a variety of completion rewards. Alongside getting more items for collecting clams the event features a new story that will feature the characters Sleeping Beauty and Little Mermaid.

Those two characters will also receive new summer-themed classes too. These will be obtained through a new gacha called 'Poacher's Feast'. From here you'll have a chance to pull Little Mermaid/Poacher and Sleeping Beauty/Poacher.
SINoALICE Yoko Taro interview: "The world we live in is full of despair, your dreams will never come true, all you can do is give up"
Beyond that, there will also be new SR weapons that can be obtained through this gacha too. The featured weapons in this gacha set will have an event exclusive effect that will apparently make clam collecting even easier. Players will also find 150 twilight crystals in their present box if they log into the game following a recent social media campaign.

SINoALICE is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Searching for the best mobile RPGs around? Here are 25 of our absolute favourites for iPhone & iPad
